But Let's Be Clear....

This is NOT a collection of Poetry.

They’re formatted to LOOK like Poetry.

But they’re not Poetry. 

Poetry soars, sings, moves mountains.

Poetry requires depth of thought
   and of structure.

Poetry requires artfulness and crafting.

Poetry requires editing.

These are the end result of
   none of the above. 

They are each only a scrap,

   a transitory thought,

   a fleeting image or event,

   found amid the clamour,

   picked up in passing,

   dashed down in the moment,

   never edited,

   sometimes not even complete. 

Never going to be Poetry.
