‘SCABBER’ (noun) - A scabber is a person continually open to the possibility of finding small cultural artefacts, of very subjective value, unintentionally left by the wayside.

‘SCABBING’ (verb) - This is the act of stopping and picking up small cultural artefacts, of very subjective value, unintentionally left by the wayside, and choosing to keep them for later evaluation.

‘SCABBANALIA’ (col noun) – This is a collection of small cultural artefacts... (blah blah blah) ...where each item has been studied by the scabber and deemed to be of an interesting enough nature to draw comment when displayed. However, only in the context of its fellow artefacts does it become true scabbanalia. (Oddly, there is no word in the English language for a scabbed cultural artefact in the singular, as any one of these objects in isolation is simply rubbish).
